Creative Student Bursary

This bursary allows creative students to get an automatic RM200 off of their monthly rent at HEART. The requirements for the bursary that student applicants must meet in order to be considered for the bursary are as such:

Copy of NRIC
Aged between 18-35
No outstanding fees at HEART
A completed accommodation bursary application form
Will be renting at HEART for at least 12 months
Submission of acceptance letter from educational institution that is in the creative field including arts, music and culture (proof of studying at the institution)

*This bursary is only applicable for Twin Standard Rooms, Twin Deluxe Rooms, and Single Standard Rooms only. This bursary will be given immediately upon commencing stay at HEART.

This bursary is applicable to working adults in the creative field and for creative students who require further financial assistance on top of the Creative Student Bursary.

The bursary will be given according to the level of income. The offer of the bursaries is up to 75% off of monthly rental for high need applicants, and up to 50% off of monthly rental for moderate need applicants. Low need applicants will have up to 25% off of the monthly rental.

Exclusive Financial Bursary

#1 financial bursary

For Creative Students:

Aged between 18 to 35 years old
Copy of Malaysian identification card
A completed accommodation bursary application form, available online on HEART’s website
Submission of Birth Certificate OR Guardianship if applicable (proof of relationship with applicant)
Submission of EA Form (proof of annual income of parents/guardian)
Submission of full year KSWP statement (proof of no employment of parents/guardian)
Submission of Acceptance letter from educational institution that is in the creative field including arts, music and culture (proof of studying at the institution)
No outstanding fees at HEART

#2 financial bursary

For Creative Working Adults:

Aged between 18 to 35 years old
A completed accommodation bursary application form
Submission of the following documents if employed in the creative field of arts, music or culture:
i. employment letter
ii. EA Form
iii. full year KWSP statement
iv. 3 months bank statement
Submission of the following documents if self-employed or engaged in freelancing work in the creative field of arts, music or culture:
i. SSM company registration (if applicable)
ii. portfolio of work (if applicable)
iii. latest 6 months bank statement
iv. submission of full year KSWP statement
No outstanding fees at HEART
Will be renting at HEART for at least 12 months

*This bursary is applicable to all room types at HEART and will be reflected after an assessment and
approval from Yayasan Lim Yee Hoh.
